神经营养蛋白3改善Charcot-Marid-Tooth患者的神经再生
Ｓａｈｅｎｋ等将８例Ｃｈａｒｃｏｔ－Ｍａｒｉｅ－Ｔｏｏｔｈ病患者随机分成２组，分别接受重组人ＮＴ３ １５０ ｍｇ／ｋｇ或安慰剂治疗，每周３次。经治疗６个月后，接受ＮＴ３治疗的４例患者腓神经中的有髓神经纤维数量都显著增多，而对照剂组无１例获得改善；ＮＴ３组的感觉功能获得了改善，而对照组的感觉功能在６个月后更为恶化。
Ｓａｈｅｎｋ等称，ＮＴ３是第一个对Ｃｈａｒｃｏｔ－Ｍａｒｉｅ－Ｔｏｏｔｈ病有显著临床疗效的药物，对其他遗传性神经病变可能也有效。
