Most people are naturally lazy that they won’t know when they are sick or just experiencing mere fatigue. Through ignorance you may interprete sickness when you are actually affected by mere fatigue. Whether by ignorance or laziness fatigue is what you can control or avoid except when it is as a result of illness.
When fatigue appears as a symptom of a disease or illness you may need chemotherapy or rest to get out of it.
Fatigue is a feeling of tiredness or weariness, the decrease in response of an organ to stimulation due to over activity. It could be caused by various factors and conditions but the most important fact I wish to bring out here is that fatigue due to our ignorance, laziness or poor adaptability is unfortunate. This kind of fatigue is referred to as psychologic.
When diseases, metabolic disturbances, diarrhoea, drugs, anaemia or circulatory disturbances, cause fatigue, it’s understandable but not when emotional factors such as frustration, anxiety, neurosis, boredom, work or exercise is causing it.
If fatigue is not managed, the individual may end up sick either because of mental factors or unnecessary use of drugs to stop it. Once you understand the root cause of fatigue, to avoid its degeneration please nip it in the bud. You don’t need to take drugs, just take rest and restful sleep or recondition your mind. The mind is very vital in the control of fatigue.
Remember the muscles respond to instructions from the nervous system so if your brain is tired you will suffer generalized tiredness.
When you return from work, where you actually had a hectic day don’t summarily conclude you are tired or weak. For instance no matter how tired you are if you return to your neighborhood and meet everybody fleeing, you will not say because of fatigue you wouldn’t flee.
There’s always a rebound energy left. When you are ill don’t say you are too weak to eat, take your drugs or obey instructions. Strength actually comes from your mind and always try to show enough determination anytime to conquer fatigue.
Start learning how to reconstruct your mental attitude towards emotional factors. Fatigue from emotional conflicts can lead to suicide, debilitating diseases or imbalance in your metabolism.
Above all, start living a positive lifestyle by observing the following. Drinking plenty water, stop eating junks or fast foods, Note that most foods we eat, rice and some bagged grains are preserved in such a way that they have lost energy - giving ability.
